eResearch New Zealand 2023
For the last 14 years, the eResearch NZ conference series has provided an important national forum for strategic discussions, community building, and career development. eResearch NZ brings together communities who are exploring or innovating the ways digital tools and techniques can be used to advance research outcomes.
This year’s theme is Capability, Connectivity and Equity, and once again will be showcasing work from across the whole spectrum of eResearch, with a strong focus on research and capability-building initiatives that involve partnerships with tangata whenua.

Andrew Mckenna-Foster is a Product Specialist at Figshare with over 12 years of experience working with research and archival data. For a decade, Andrew oversaw the operations of a small natural history museum and aquarium and directed the related research programs and biological collections. An interest in open science and data management led Andrew to the field of information science and he received a masters of library and information science from the University of Washington in 2020. At Figshare, Andrew focuses on helping researchers and librarians think through their open research and repository needs.
