Love Your Data Week 2017 – Figshare’s Competition

Next week, Figshare are hosting a competition for Love Your Data Week, starting 13-17 February 2017!

All you need to do if follow these steps:

1. Upload your data to Figshare. If your institution has access to Figshare for institutions, be sure to upload it there!
2. Use the keyword ‘LYD17’ or ‘Love Your Data’ when filling in the required metadata
3. Publish it! It doesn’t matter what restrictions you place on your data – just be sure to publish it!

They’ll pull all the data with those keywords into a Collection for everyone to see.

They are also giving prizes for the most viewed data in the Collection. Share your data on social media (see their guide for tips on how to do that). The top three items with the most views will receive some Digital Science and Figshare swag!

All participants will receive a badge on their Figshare profile page showing their participation in the competition. Badges will also be given to those who have the highest item views, so be sure to share your data!
