Boston Girl Geek Dinner at the ReadCube Offices

Last week Digital Science and ReadCube sponsored a Boston Girl Geek Dinner, hosted by ReadCube. Alex Hodgson, Head of Marketing at ReadCube, had this to say about the event:

Digital Science and ReadCube are strong supporters of supporting local initiatives promoting woman in STEM fields and was thrilled to team up with the Boston Geek Girls to host this event. The Boston Geek Girl Dinner series​ is an excellent opportunity for like-minded women to get together, discuss and learn in an informal environment about technology and science. In a city known for its concentration of start-ups, science and tech innovations, this event remains one of the few female focused events​ in the area.​

Last week’s event brought a sea of local tech and science talent​ to the Digital Science & ReadCube offices for food, drinks,​ network​ing​ and ​ to ​hear the stories of ​invited speakers ​Judith Donath and Joanne Kamens​. Both speakers shar​ed their differ​ent perspectives​/paths ​on overcoming challenges of being a woman in male driven industries and reflecting on the changes they have seen across their careers​.
