The New and Improved Figshare is Here!

Today is a real milestone for the Figshare team. They have been working hard over the last few months to bring you the biggest update in their history.

So, as an early Christmas present, all the shiny new features and paint are now live and you can go and see it for yourself at figshare.com.

There’s many, many new features and improvements, and you can read in more detail about them in a previous blog post authored by figshare’s Product Manager Chris George, but here’s a quick highlights reel:

• Improved free accounts with 5gb single file uploads, 20gb of private space & 10 collaborative spaces

• Extensive Embargo, Confidential file and Metadata only features

• A new way to organise data with Collections

• A brand new and improved look with extensive improvements to visualisations

• DOI Versioning
